Unfortunate events

I love when I make plans to travel….. and then the universe delivers a huge slap, and says- nope. Not today, ma’am! although I do have to say that I will forever believe that all things happen for a reason, and it all eventually works out exactly as it’s meant to….. yadda yadda… you know the spiel🤷🏻‍♀️ My nephew’s birthday is this weekend, and I really wanted to be there to celebrate. Not only that, but I wanted to help my sister get things set up, and then help clean up after the chaos of multiple wild animal children, and our huge, Mennonite-ish family leaves the kind of mess only ‘those’ kind of gathering and families can leave. Of course, tropical storm Mario😵‍💫 had to make an appearance and ruin it all. Ugh. That’s life, I guess.

Because I wasn’t able to head out of town, I went to go meet some puppies that a rescue lady in Hesperia had posted on book of faces…… and happily decided to bring one home! He is a chiweenie (dachshund\chihuahua), according to the lady….. but, I think i may do a DNA test on him to find out for sure. He is one of the SWEETEST pups I’ve ever met, and we all love him already. She also gave me an approximate age, which is NOT correct lol! She said he is 9-10 weeks old….. but, this dude has lil cojones dropping down, and he lifts his leg to pee. He does still only have baby teeth, so I am estimating him to be between 12-16 weeks old…. I guess we’ll see what the vet says! In any case, he is very well behaved, potty-trained, and very smart. He walks well on a leash, and is overall just a super good boy. Next up is micro chipping, well puppy check up, and his next round of shots and oh yeah! His name is Fenrir Sparrow….. Fen for short.
